Dayton-area home DIY projects spike in Covid-19 pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic’s impact on the region has varied across industries. But, one industry booming with demand is custom carpentry work within the residential real estate sector.

“This year has been as crazy as it sounds,” said Matt Spitz, owner and carpenter of The Matthew Tamerisk Collection, which crafts unique tables, desks and benches for homes, offices, places of worship and other commercial spaces.
